Quality Assurance
Reliability Starts
Before Shipment.
Every order processed by AVNGRS goes through a 10-step quality process — from supplier qualification to dispatch approval. This is how we reduce procurement risk for global industrial buyers.
Not reactive — quality is built into the process, not tested in at the end.
Every thread type verified with precision gauges calibrated to the applicable standard.
MTC, CoC, inspection reports, and export documents available for every shipment.
Process
10-Step Quality Process
Supplier Qualification
No manufacturing partner enters AVNGRS's network without a structured qualification review. We evaluate production capability, quality systems, equipment calibration, and technical competence before any sourcing engagement begins.
Key Activities
- Manufacturing facility and equipment assessment
- Quality management system review (ISO 9001 compliance)
- Thread gauging and measurement equipment verification
- Technical drawing interpretation capability
- Prior performance and reference evaluation
Technical Assessment
Before production begins, our engineering team reviews specifications, drawings, and thread standards to confirm that the manufacturing partner's process can meet the technical requirements of the order.
Key Activities
- Drawing and specification review
- Thread standard identification and verification
- Material grade and heat treatment confirmation
- Manufacturing process suitability assessment
- Applicable standards compliance check
Sample Evaluation
For new components or new suppliers, we require first article samples prior to production approval. Samples are evaluated against full technical requirements before production release is authorized.
Key Activities
- First article dimensional inspection
- Thread gauge verification (GO/NO-GO)
- Surface finish and coating assessment
- Material certification review and validation
- Customer sample approval coordination if required
Dimensional Verification
Critical dimensions are measured using calibrated instruments. We do not rely on visual inspection alone — measurement data is recorded and available as part of the inspection documentation package.
Key Activities
- Caliper and micrometer measurements of critical features
- Thread pitch gauge verification
- Profile projector inspection for complex geometries
- Hex size, overall length, and seating surface measurement
- Documented measurement reports on request
Thread Gauge Validation
Thread quality is verified using precision GO/NO-GO thread gauges calibrated to the applicable standard. This is one of the most critical checks in hydraulic fitting quality assurance — and it is standard in our process.
Key Activities
- GO/NO-GO thread gauge testing for all thread types
- Thread pitch and form verification
- Thread depth and engagement length confirmation
- ORFS O-ring sealing surface verification
- Cross-thread and damage inspection
Material Verification
Material traceability is maintained through the supply chain. Mill Test Certificates are reviewed and matched to production batches — providing heat lot traceability that supports customer quality management systems.
Key Activities
- Mill Test Certificate review and batch matching
- Heat lot and heat number traceability
- Hardness testing verification where specified
- Coating thickness and adhesion verification
- Plating and finish compliance confirmation
Pre-Shipment Inspection
Pre-shipment inspection is executed on production batches using AQL sampling plans. This covers dimensional spot checks, thread verification, visual defect assessment, and packaging review.
Key Activities
- AQL sampling plan execution
- Visual inspection for surface defects and damage
- Dimensional spot check verification
- Thread gauge re-verification on batch samples
- Packaging adequacy and labeling review
Packaging Review
Packaging protects thread integrity during international transit. We verify that thread protectors are installed, components are secured against movement, and cartons are marked correctly for international shipping.
Key Activities
- Thread protector installation verification
- Individual part protection adequacy
- Carton strength and sealing confirmation
- International shipping marking compliance
- Export packing list accuracy verification
Documentation Package
A complete documentation package is compiled and verified before dispatch. This includes quality certificates, inspection reports, export documents, and commercial paperwork — all reviewed for accuracy.
Key Activities
- Mill Test Certificates (MTC)
- Certificate of Conformance (CoC)
- Dimensional inspection reports
- Third-party inspection reports if specified
- Export commercial documentation review
Dispatch Approval
Final shipment authorization is only issued after all quality steps are confirmed complete and documentation is verified accurate. Nothing ships without a quality-cleared status.
Key Activities
- Quality clearance authorization
- Documentation completeness confirmation
- Shipping instruction verification
- Freight forwarder handover
- Shipment tracking and buyer notification
